One of these is getting much warmer.
It is not a German ink.
You have me stumped. I will have to think on this a bit. Off to make dinner. Back in a bit.
This is from a line of inks especially well known for their beautiful colours, but which have a bad reputation in other ways. That should help!
Well let's give this a try
Kyo-no-oto Seiheki - I didn't realize how new this ink was.

And she scores!!!
It is just lovely - fascinating colour and seemingly less dry than some of the previous blue and green shades - though I wish I didn't feel the need to hoard my last bottles of Urahairo. I got mine from Stiloestile (their shipping rates are still very kind to us here), and didn't even notice that it was priced the same as the shimmering versions - I'm still getting over the sticker shock at what I paid for Ginkaisyoku, which I notice they now have at the same price.
Well done DrPenfection - I feel bad about using such a new ink, but I was writing with it at the time and really enjoying it, so couldn't resist!

No worries, mizgeorge! Thank you so much for introducing me to this ink. I may have to try a sample. I will be back in a bit.
mizgeorge, you are such an enabler! I just ordered a sample of Seiheki.
Today is another work day for me. I am preparing an inventory of hundreds of documents to later be analyzed. Sigh.
But it is just as well. It is snowing outside. All I can see is the heavy snowfall and the dark green of the swaying pine trees in the high winds. And, it just so happens that I have a pen filled with the following ink. Coincidence? Nah. I don't believe in coincidences. The weather knew what I was writing with today and decided to accomodate my writing.
Here is the ink:

I have start with the obvious
R&K Deep Pine
Monteverde Green
De Atramentis Bookworm
Private Reserve Ebony Green
Diamine Sherwood Green
MB Irish
Papier Plume Irish Channel Green
Monteverde Yosemite Green
KWZ Green #3
KWZ Pine Green
Montegrappa Green
shin-ryoku
And I think you'll like the Seiheki - I've even had nice results with it in pretty fine nibs, which is unusual for most Kyoto inks.
I don't envy you the snow though. We have cold, but at least it's not snowing or icy. Though I'm sure it's still worse in Yazeh-land.
