    Oh, dear...

Gratulations, one more goal for you - didn't expect Scabiosa here.

    Cheers

Really?! Aye caramba! I honestly thought that'd be a safe bet to be wrong. Definitely should have been one for Jens.

*looks out of window at howling gale and little connection indicator thingy going off and on like an SOS signal*

I will try my best to post something and not lose all my temper in the attempt. Unless someone would like to take pity...?

This is hands down the lousiest pic I may have ever posted, but it does sort of convey the ink. I think. Usual lack of sheen, sparkle, shimmer, or unicorn wotsit. Added lack of artistic or calligraphic talent free, gratis, and for nothing.

I would probably sit this one out, but suffice to say, if you're fishing for compliments...there's a big whale of a fish, washed at the shore during that gale for that apple crumble....

To get this out of my system, I would get this out my system,

    Blackstone Magenta, or Uluru red

    No, I fear not.

Sorry, helpful "too light" "not pink enough" etc answers are thwarted by slowness this evening. Some of it mine.

I shall take pity on all parties and declare It's Not Diamine. I still think Yazeh is going to be annoyed with me though...

No, and no. It'd definitely quite a pinky* sort of red, rather than what I'd call a "true" red.

*As in quite pink. Not that it hangs out with The Brain.

Ooo, you do come up with some interesting guesses from the further edges of my ink knowledge, inkguesser. Looks like it may be a bit too pink perhaps.

Ah, Jens, you'll be pleased to know I have it right next to Star Ruby in my swab folder, but it's not quite as pink, or nearly as vibrant.

I've just moved rooms (still sort of between them, in fact), and thus desks, so I'm a little where-the-heck-is-the...? at the moment, but as we now have two incorrect guesses of inks I have, I'll try and get a pic of them with the ink of mystery in the hopes that might help.

And here we go. Taken in real daylight as opposed to daylight bulbs, as I now have some.

    The crumble, btw, was delicious.

Whisht! I'm hoping it won't notice...

It's not Robert Oster Rubine. I think it's fair to say you're doing a creditable impression of a highland dancer with the crossed swords - all round it but not on it!

No, 'fraid not. My dancing analogy could have been applied much earlier, but I don't want to make it too easy.
