This one shows some different looks across the internet too!
I think I'll put it on my sample wishlist.
    It's not Honey Burst though.

Right, I've been thumbing through my swatches... so I'll try:

    BungBox Ebisu Gold
    Ink Institute Zhonghe-Xinlu Line
    Kobe 21 Taisanji Yellow
    Kyo-no-oto Yamabukiiro
Robert Oster African Gold or Honeybee
    Rohrer und Klingner Helianthus
    Standardgraph Maisgelb

but these may all be on the dark side as I'm just eyeballing against the sample. I may have to be more scientific!

Had to run some errands, now let’s see…
    None of the above!
Neither gold nor honey are in the name.

So many good dopplegangers so far! Anahuac is too red however.
I hesitate to give better hints when we're so close already, though I can provide one should someone ask for it.

    Swoop! There it is!
(I realized after typing what I had done, and I’m sticking with it.)
This ink was gifted to me in the set of scented inks in tiny bottles. It smells like a vaguely orange citrus soap and is a little stingy on flow. Not an ink I’d buy for myself, but I’m glad to have a use for it, writing notes to my wife.
Now I have a list of doppelgänger options to explore… thanks everyone!

Thank you thi! I am not a big scented ink fan, but I do love some of the orange scented inks.

    Congrats, mizgeorge!!

You're luckier than I am thi - my bottle of this feathers horribly on even quite nice paper - I can't say I particularly like the smell - there's only one scented ink I've ever liked much (L'Artisan Pastillier Lagon Oceanic) though I don't mind Montblanc Vetiver, but I really struggled with the performance of this one, despite really liking the colour. If it's any help, I have Honey Burst as a permanent resident in one of my orange pens, and it's beautifully behaved - a real pleasure to use.

I'm off to come up with something new now.

    And for tonight's offering:

    A scaninkguess27a.jpg

    and a photo
    inkguess27b.jpg

I think the colour's pretty much the same in both, though obviously the scan is brighter. It's certainly true to the original as far as my old eyes can see!

    Have fun
