You have a good eye for colors.

But no it is also not Prussian Blue.

Both look really nice, I think the pictures I see a lot of sheen, but the mystery ink has no noticeable sheen.

So no, also these inks are not the right ones.

Maybe you need a new additional perspective on the mystery ink, a quick fountain pen sketch, done with a Waterman 52 (same as the first one, but different paper and of course in a different style).

The used 170gsm Winsor Newton heavy weight wiro o sketch book is not an ink friendly one.
It showed a lot of feathering with this wet nib, so better use it with dry techniques instead.

And the initial one, so you have them both in one place.

The ink is very well behaving so don´t blame the ink for the feathering on the Winsor Newton sketch book, I really like it.

Thanks Ptero. When I saw the ink wash, I saw teal/black. Hence my veering a bit toward the Green spectrum
My quick sketches normally got the shredder
    Lamy blue black?

    Not not Lamy Blue Black.

    Hint:
The name of the ink has no “Black” in it

Or maybe a writing sample is also helpful to track down the mystery ink.

    Here we go:

Quote Alexander Graham Bell by Ptero-Pterodactylus by Ptero Pterodactylus on DeviantArt

Some people claim that this ink has only limited shading capabilities.

I claim it need only the right nib to elicit this ink some great shades.

    Hint:
When you guess based on my writing sample take into account that this Waterman 52 is (as many vintage Watermans) a really wet writer.
So reference pictures you may find online often look much lighter in color.

I have Sidney Harbour and itˋs also an awesome ink.

But it is not that one.

Sidney Harbour is also too dark, the mystery ink is lighter.

Let’s exclude a manufacturer, it is not a Blackstone ink.

I would describe the mystery ink color as blue-grey.

Looking at the latest news regarding Blackstone we might loose those inks in the future.

I looked at that on Cult Pens yesterday. Sold out. I'm not sure I can even get a sample of it. I looked at both of their blue inks and both are sold out.

Edit: the ebay guy in Scotland seems to have some samples left.

That may have inspired my guess more than a similarity to the mystery ink, if I'm honest. Sad news if that's the case, and yet then I recall the time I had to clean up an entire bottle of Daintree Green that ran amok and my sadness ebbs somewhat. Bertie, my grey parrot, will be very pleased - he took an instant dislike to Daintree Green fingers and refused to have anything to do with me until it had faded!

Blue-grey. Hmm. Have we tried Diamine Indigo yet?

Indigo is also a good color match, but unfortunately not the mystery ink.
