That’s looks like a washed-out caput mortuum to me! My first thoughts were Pen & Message Old Burgundy (but that may be too saturated) or maybe Krishna Pencil?

I love the wishy-washy, mizgeorge!! And I've been searching off and on all day for an ink but couldn't come up with anything. I too think it must be migo984's guess of Krishna Pencil.

Each one is a bit different in color, but they are all much "wetter" than Candy Marsala.

Oooh, thanks for the tips!! And now indeed

She really is very good, you know...

It is indeed Krishna Pencil, which is one of those inks I like in spite of myself!

    Congratulations

    Well done migo984!

This is an ink that I do not have, and was surprised to find it such an intriguing color.

Krishna Pencil is a very distinctive ink, especially the green that shows in a wash.

I’ve got visitors today so may not get an ink posted, but I’ll try 🙂

Visitors have gone out for a walk so I grabbed the opportunity to do a very quick ink for guessing. I’ve had it in this Kaweco Sport for about a week but it hasn’t darkened much over that time. This is a photo taken with my iPad. It is reasonably accurate.

    Happy guessing 🙂

I find these shades very hard to tell apart - I think they're all too like wine for me

    Kaweco Summer Purple
    Kobe 6 Bordeaux
    Straits Pen Bougainvillea Purple

    Not those inks I’m afraid.

It’s not really much like a wine colour - unless you’ve already had two bottles of vino del collapso before lunch 😉😆

    Haha - and I'm a non-drinker.

I'll try Robert Oster Cherry Blossom or Dusty Pink

Good guesses. It’s very close to Oster Dusky Pink; a touch more saturated.
