Nope, none of those either. I had a feeling that this easy ink was going to be so easy that it might actually be hard to guess...

But there is also a twist!

I want to know the exact name that is on my bottle.

So, let's see how fast you find it now...

This Waterman Havana was the first bottle of ink I ever bought.

And it's still half full LOL!

Well done Ptero - I was still miles away! I think this is the one Waterman colour I've never bothered to get - I don't use a huge number of brown inks, but definitely prefer them with more grey than red, which I think is to do with my dislike of 'red brick' colours.

I came upon several paintings, by Jasper Johns...
    in a NYTIMES article...
I thought for some of the grey lovers it might be interesting.

I hope you don't mind, until Ptero, flies from Jurassic World and dazzles us with a new painting....

    Thanks 😊

To be honest I do not understand abstract art in most cases, maybe I’m too much rational engineer (or only too stupid to understand it).

So I out myself as philistine and claim:

The picture above looks for me like an old tabletop after several years usage in a painters workshop (assuming that guy mainly painted grey furniture in his workshop).

I will come up with a new ink tomorrow before noon, no daylight anymore, it’s already 21:30 here.
Not sure if I can manage to do also a drawing this time, I’m quite tired already today.

I will not ask “easy or hard”……… you only deserve hard as hardcore ink geeks……..

    This is the way.

And it’s already too late to change my mind as I‘ve already inked up a nice pen with the new ink and written some lines.

    Stay tuned.

How does it perform compared to Noodler’s Kiowa?

I’m afraid I wouldn’t have any idea, as I don’t have Noodler’s Kiowa Pecan. Maybe someone else can compare the two?

And needed to keep a spoon handy for his breakfast cereal probably

(I like modern art but I couldn’t resist that addition to Ptero’s analysis 😂 )

@Ptero, you're analytical brain is doing all the thinking.....I'm not saying you must love it. Fat from it.
Try this exercise try doodling and look at the image to disengage from analyzing.... you might be surprised...
after all there's beauty in a painter's workshop, if you see

    Ok sorry for being late,
first I wanted to provide a drawing as usual, second it is today so cloudy, dark and it is snowing, so taking a somehow ok picture is really difficult outside.

I did my best, but do not blame me if it is not as good as usual:

    Thanks George.

No it is none of these.

Let me describe the color also in words.

It is a quite dark blue, you could describe it as grey-blue or blue black.
It has no purple hues, itˋs blue leaning to grey.

In my OF pen it shades really nicely.
In wet pens it might even appear as almost black.
