Muddy Swamp!

The colour on Cultpens is so misleading. I check the colours twice
I feel I'm in the Lion, the Witch and Wardrobe. It has been snowing for almost a week. Now if I could find the wardrobe

Cult Pens swatches are rubbish - I look almost anywhere else before them, and never buy until I've double checked!

It's a lovely, lovely ink, and for me, definitely the pick of the series.

A great color that looks neither muddy nor swampy to me. (Spending most of my life in Georgia (USA) my idea of swamp water is a dark tea color in swamps like the Okefenokee.)

Not my idea of a swamp colour either - but absolutely lovely to use. I dithered about buying it for ages, but I'm glad I did.

Yep first sunny day. In a week. Sunny = Cold. Today is mild -10°C
Friday will be very cold, high of -22°C

Baking, seems intriguing?

I can't even imagine living in temperatures that cold ever again. I still can't believe I survived the winters in Russia when we lived there. I would have to simply hibernate now. Or become one of the sad snowbirds who head for gated communities in warmer places and spend their whole time wondering why the local supermarkets don't stock everything they can get at home.

Baking is good. Bread, cake and pizza bases. I shall eat some of the cake in a while with some cawfee
