Oh well done Yazeh! I'd have enjoyed the clue though - love a good cryptic crossword

I think the Diplomat Burgundy is actually a better 'true' red than the red.

I'm pretty sure these are just rebranded Octopus Fluids inks, and I've found they feather a bit more than I'd like. Not a problem with their pretty pastels, where the lines don't need to be as clean, but not something I want for darker, more saturated colours.

I like the Diamine reds - particularly Wild Strawberry and Matador, but I also have a soft spot for Waterman. Of course my favourite red will always be MB Corn Poppy, but I don't think I'll ever have that again!
