Default A brace from my pen box

Following on from my Newbie post in new member here are a couple of pictures of pens from my collection, a Mont Blanc Starwalker and a Cross Townsend, hope you enjoy them, my recent collection started with a Lamy CP1 in black and then a graphite Safari, then in the middle of last year it began to grow, thanks to Ebay!

Haha! Good looking pens and it looks like you have got the hang of posting photos.

I love to play the ebay game (i.e watch a pen you really want and could go for a price you could afford, and not buy it, but then see that it was a great deal...)

Nice pens! That is ruthenium trim on the MB, right?

Or pens you really like, but are going for a price you can't afford, with two days left on the auction...

"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

Commendable close up photos. The CrossTownsend has an attractive texture and the Starwalker reminds me of one of those snow-globes.
Good to hear you've some Lamys too.

I eye those as well. But they are just too expensive and in the end, I want a MB 142 in green striated or a Pelikan 500 seagreen more

You already have a Paragon, though, don't you, and that's basically the same pen as the Doric... I want that adjustable nib, and the plunger filler!

By the way, that Pelikan 500... !!!!!!!!

I do...but it doesn't have amazing celluloid on it! It would be a tie between a Doric or a Vintage Paragon (like one with the Dunn filler from the 30's "Brevita 1936"). All very expensive pens though. I'll stick with my 400 in brown at the top of my vintage heap for now though.
