Thank you. Not the best of news, but $45 is better than not getting to go at all. I assume that covers the whole thing, so if I pay $45 on Thursday, I could go both Thursday and Friday?

Yep... you can even set up a 1/2 table of pens to sell...

Its basically an all access pass on a lanyard.

We made it to DC. Traffic wasn't bad until we we almost to the DC Beltway. Time to relax in our hotel room for a bit.

So, I will be unexpectedly be in DC for work, but I won't arrive till Sunday. Is it still worth going to the show or are things pretty picked over? Are all the good inks gone? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! MT

Agreed. For the past two years I was only able to attend on Sunday and it was great.

Sunday afternoon is a great time to attend. In my experience, it is almost a "buyers' market" during the final hours on Sunday. This is especially true among the big retailers who don't want to pack a great deal of unsold merchandise and are also looking for some final sales. I have gotten very good deals late Sunday. In fact, I have often closed my table mid-afternoon and gone pen hunting for the first time since the previous Thursday.

Thanks for the feedback. I've been to the ATL show the last two years so have little to compare to. I'll see if I can drag a friend along.

I will be there on Saturday morning - hopefully at opening. MLW has to be at work at 6:00 AM so I'll be hanging out at the office for an hour or so, then a subway ride across town.

    Here's some pics.

Kanilea pen company is new. A husband and wife team have designed pens from their trip pictures of Hawaii. They blended the colors, poured resins and make the pens.

This pen is of a sunset. I couldn't resist and bought it.

This pen is designed after a gecko.

    Designed after the sun.

    The reef and ocean.
