FP in amber & ebonite
This one was turned last week on my woodlathe.
The barrel is made of a special amber acrylic, section and cap are made of german black ebonite.
The fountain pen is clipless and not postable.
The barrel has a blindcap to load the converter without the need to unscrew the whole barrel.
It has a classic "Cigar"-shape, and a fine Bock #5 twotone steel nib with a Schmidt converter.
length opend: 123mm
length closed: 135mm
length of cap: 65,3mm
barrel min. diameter: 14,0mm
barrel max. diameter: 15,1mm
cap min. diameter: 14,7mm
cap max. diameter: 15,1mm
section min. diameter: 9,2mm
section max. diameter: 10,8mm
weight (incl. nib & converter), caped: 24,35g
weight (incl. nib & converter), uncaped: 15,39g
The pictures are a bit blurry, sorry for that, still learning to make good photos...
Thanks for looking.
Comments and critics are welcome.
best regards
Gerrit

Re: FP in amber & ebonite
I like the blind cap design on the back. It gives the pen a more interesting feature than just simply a C/C filler.
I think it'll be better with some kind of clip.
