A Fall

Last Monday, I tripped and fell. The fall resulted in breaking my elbow. Had extensive MRI on Thursday. The hard part it is my left elbow, I'm left handed. No letter writing for awhile (bummer).

I feel your pain! I broke my elbow about 12 years ago, and it's a tough go (mostly all the therapy)! And with it being your writing hand, much harder. Get well soon!

Sorry for the bad news, and all good wishes for your full recovery (from a fellow lefty). As grueling, painful and I-don't-wanna-do-it it can be, really go strong in the PT and OT afterwards. The progress you make, close to the completion of the successful operation, is the most important!

The Dr. visit Tuesday, was good news no surgery needed. Just in a sling for 4 weeks. The elbow is fractured, the lower portion of the tricep slightly torn, partially dislocation of my shoulder. Feeling better. Thanks for the well wishes.
