    Default Amazon Ink Sellers

Does anyone have any good experiences they can share with 3rd party sellers of ink on Amazon? I have some Amazon credits to use and there are many sellers offering Kon Peki ink for $21 a bottle (shipped via prime) but I want to minimize my risk of getting a counterfeit.

Shop around, but be careful. A few years ago, I ordered a dozen bottles of ink. Tried to go through Amazon but there was a problem with shipping. They said they couldn't ship to APO numbers, addresses outside the lower 48 states, prisons, etc. None of the restrictions apply to me, but I still couldn't get past the stumbling block. Then, I looked up the web sites of the Amazon sellers. All of their prices were higher than they were when ordering through Amazon. Some of them tried to charge me $7 shipping per bottle. I finally found one that would give me a new-customer discount, a volume discount, and free shipping.

I've never heard of anyone selling counterfeit Pilot Iroshizuku ink. Amazon has a great return and refund policy, in any case. With Amazon third party sellers, I always choose the lowest price seller that has good ratings. Usually that's the lowest price seller.

+1 for this reply. I have bought quite a few inks from Japanese sellers via Amazon, and have always been very pleased with them. Go for it.

If they are shipped by Prime, then is it not Amazon that is fulfilling the order anyway?

Sold and shipped by Amazon and don't look back.

    Never had an issue.

I remember paying like $15 or $16 a bottle for Iroshizuku from Santa Trading on Amazon.

Yet to get a broken bottle though the wait time was about 2-3 weeks.

But at that price it's all good.

I purchased a bottle of Oku-yama from Japan. It arrived in 2-3 weeks and was reasonably priced. Have been incredibly happy with the ink. Packaging was made for Japanese market.
