To continue to diminish the place of the handwritten in our lives is to diminish, in a small but real way, our humanity. Philip Hensher

I received one from Washington state today- what fun! I also wrote an outbound one.
I worked on tuck-ins, mostly, though.
Write buzzed. Edit sober.
Outgoing - just Postcrossing postcards (when I can get to a postbox)...
Incoming - Postcrossing postcards, one letter from a penpal, and one from someone here
Yes. Yes, I did.
My Field Notes has a list of about 24. Might even do some more tonight or tomorrow.
I also got a couple of extremely awesome InCos, one with Red Lettering, blue rose, and Stamps, and one with a wonderful sketch in Rose Tendresse!
Valentine's Day must be in the air.
My other pen is a Montblanc.
And my other blog is a tumblr!
And my latest ebook, for spooky wintery reading:

Got 2 out yesterday and 0 in
Sat down to write one over lunch and wouldn't you know it I ran out of ink.
Mental note to self: take some ink to work as a back-up.
Yes, I have a half a vile of black in the drawer at work - just in cases!

Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

I am having such fun writing letters again. Two out today.
caribbean_skye (February 12th, 2014), Tracy Lee (February 12th, 2014)

Wrote two, one sent out, and none in my mailbox. I'm still enjoying writing letters! Its pretty exciting stuff!
Thanks for the offer. It wasn't the snow that was the issue but the 1/4 to 1/2 inch of freezing rain that did everything in.
Here are the photos I took of my incoming on 2/10:
Attachment 9866
(Top row are ongoing correspondences 7, Middle is new this month 9, Bottom was a bounds for bad address... not sure why yet.)
Attachment 9868
(Top row again ongoing 2, bottom new 5)
Haven't made it home yet to see what there is waiting for me but did get a call that power flickers a bit but is now flowing though my house.
I wrote two letters last night, and I wrote another today. Received a note from my mom and an InCoWriMo letter from someone new to me. Purchased two international letter stamps so I could reply to a letter I received yesterday from Oz.
I tutored through college and seminary in work-study programs, proofread/edited a friend's book, and am working as an English teacher. After spending every day for the past several years correcting all manner of spelling & grammatical errors, I can't just switch it off!
Oh, and just so I do not further hijack this thread, one out today
