You can also buy older forever stamps that are quite interesting and different on ebay, eg I got some Tarzan/Edgar Rice Burroughs forever stamps and just picked up a sheet of 34˘ Snoopy as Flying Ace for postcards from eBay. They do cost a bit more than face value, but I enjoy the variety. These are often free shipping.

Those Lincolns are beautiful! I got them online; worth the wait!

Another half written letter and a few of envelopes addressed in lieu of actual letters.

Wow, Ypsilanti, you were busy this weekend. I managed to get 2 out in the mail for today. One of which is headed your way.

Here are my in's and out's for the month of May (a little late).

30 bits of mail in, and 33 bit out. Leaving me with 64 waiting (thankfully not the dreaded and dangerous 66)
I really need to add in the word counts, cause I know my output has slowed but I also know that they are getting much longer. The pain and suffering of having really good conversation, when will it ever end. Not soon I hope.

Wrote to VertOlive; Ypsilanti and her cute cat avatar have a letter in the mail. Oh, and I wrote to my mom to send her cancelled stamps (she collects stamps). Plus, I miss her even though I talk to her almost every day (we live 700+ miles apart).

Online arguments are a lot like the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
As soon as the audience begins to participate, any actual content is lost in the resulting chaos and cacophony.
At that point, all you can do is laugh and enjoy the descent into debasement.

Oh goody that gives something to work with on your next letters.

Till then have a listen to Drabblecast 115 about old Bull Clowns & Clown hatchlings.

The spring tide rolled across Momus Beach, tossing the flaccid corpses of clowns like so many torn balloons. Weathered to a dispirited pallor, they twisted in the foamy surf with the eternally surprised expressions of the dead...............
The Drabble describes either an apocalyptic event, or a simple machine. The feature "ClownEggs" introduces us to old “bull” clown Uncle Swarmy. It’s not just another day at the beach. Learn more about the clown life cycle than you’re comfortable with

Thank you for the inspiration. I'm committing to Serious Metrics to track my correspondence as of June 1st.
Probably, this means I need a new notebook...
