One reply out today and a letter to my sister in the ink she bought me for my birthday.

This is great. I ordered over £30 worth of stamps on 3rd June to feed the letter writing habit. They still haven't arrived. If royal mail can't deliver something they're sending themselves I dread to think where my letters get to!

Oops! I really need to get myself some ordered. Don't have to wait for the post office to be open then!

Anyway, got a couple in over the last couple of days. One written for going out today, and another about to be written.

    😂

I did noticed how much cheaper it is to send from America to here than the other way round. £1.28 to send to America -approx £0.90 for the other way round!

Yes, it was. I wonder if I should blame my school's mailroom or the actual postal services for this.

Always blame the mailroom. It's my favorite game. That and arguing about if they should go double check for letters in the random baskets they pile them in.

Ah hah, stamps were waiting for me when I got home from work! 8 days to arrive, 1st class. To be fair, they did all come in posh cardboard display sleeves.

Today I received a beautiful postcard from Michigan. I agree onions do not grow in the Grand Rapids but they travel rapidly there.

Postcard coming to you VertOlive next week from Wales. They have their own sheep there.

I got yours today, plus another letter, a small belated birthday package AND a package from a swap. Ahh. Overwhelmed today! BUT I am caught up with all of my outgoing, so... I am sitting down to write a response to you right now!

2 out this evening while the husband watches the 3rd World Cup game of the day. And I'm caught up again. I have to stop responding same-day, especially on a Friday. That leaves me with nothing to write over the weekend!

I had forgotten I sent those. I'm much less concerned now. Fun fact: the site I sent pictures of used to be a garden shop so it's doubly appropriate.
