I'm envious. All the stamp machines around here were removed years ago. There aren't even stamp machine in the post office lobbies anymore.

Oh, there's no lack of places to buy books of stamps. The grocery stores have a much poorer selection than the USPS branch a couple miles away, but they have them. The topic I was lamenting was that there are no longer any self-service machines to dispense postage stamps.

That's absolutely hilarious. I was in the post office this morning sending out a package and thought, "I haven't seen a stamp dispensing machine in such a long time...."

I just wish the usps store wasn't so slow. Both times I ordered from them it took like 3 weeks. So I usually try to just go to the post office.

It took then a week to fill my (less than $50) order and a couple of days from there to ship it. You would think it would be faster than that, but maybe it's still all done by hand.

So I just realized that you meant an actual atm sells stamps and not those stamp selling machines. I didn't know you can get stamps from an atm.

Day one! I sent off a letter to the first on the list, Morgaine in the UK.

Day one, I wrote a letter to my cousin in prison to go out tomorrow using a Pilot Precise V7 filled with Levenger Amethyst and a (boring quadrille paper) handmade envelope. I addressed it using a Zebra R-301. No fountain pens were used or harmed in the making of this letter.
