Ah, happiness is having just enough in the tiny sample of the most expensive ink I have ever used to write a thought-filled Valentine to my wife. In a beautiful, delicate blue ink. Had to coax the last line out with a micro-drop of water into the reservoir. <sigh of contentment>.

I have to say, however, that the phrase conjures up a fairly poetic image. A fountain pen conjurer who keeps cases of vile black ink in the drawer at work … for those times when the situation calls for it. Hmmm… yep, I can think of a few former work colleagues who would have merited a reply in vile black.

It would be great for ( wait for it...) poison pen letters.

Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week

Dangitt! I am sitting here in the lab awaiting delivery on some VIP specimens and neglected to bring a Bug Out Bag packed with emergency pen, ink, and paper. And of course all shipments coming out of the half the country are delayed. I could have gotten some more replies out....

Nope, not yet. I have a feeling multiple letters will go out on Tuesday to make up for today. I need to start looking for more ppl to write to as well.

One reply to an InCoWriMo person sent today.... not sure if I spelt the placename of somewhere I visited yesterday, wrongly... Blists Hill (I think I may have written Blitz Hill).

Received, loads of Postcrossing cards, 1 penpal letter and 1 InCoWriMo surprise.
