One thank you note out today for me too, and 2 in.
None in . There I have taken two new penpals. Sailor and Kataish letters are heading your way tomorrow morning. After the mess the mailroom has made this summer I'm just giving you home address- hopefully come fall they can get themselves together. I just hope too many letters besides VertOlive's weren't harmed during these six weeks.
none in, but sent one out earlier and working on another.
1 in. 1 RZP* out.

Random question ceramic_pizza- did you post on penpal of the week? If so you have an email waiting for you from me!
Oh hey, thats me! Yay! Thank you!
I'm sorry to hear about all of your mailroom crap When I was in college (ohgodIsuddenlyfeelold!) 13-14 years ago, our mail was just sorted by the front desk at the dorms, and was usually in our mailboxes by the time I was done my afternoon classes. Packages would sit on a side counter at the front desk and whoever was on duty would just check ID if they didn't know you. I was penpalling even back then and was swapping (via nervousness.org... does anybody else remember it? This was pre-swap-bot) so everyone was jealous I had a lot of mail coming in, too. Even back then not many people wrote letters.
1 in yesterday and 1 out (to Holsworth!). Still 2 on my to-reply pile, but hopefully I'll get those done today. Planning a little set up at a local coffee shop after a checkup at the doc.

We have one mailroom for 5500 students. Including those in houses and apartments owned by the university. Makes things extremely difficult and sorting doesn't work well. It just makes me sad snail mail isn't a priority for the workers in there. Last Saturday there were 8 students in there in their laptops while a pile of letters just sat there waiting to be put in mailboxes
Thunderstorms woke me way too early this morning, so I managed to get a letter out. Found two in the PO Box.
3 letters posted!
2 out none in today
