    Default Waterman Perspective Fountain Pen

I visited a specialist pen shop today to try out some pens.
Of the pens I tried the one I liked the most was a Waterman Perspective Fountain Pen, although it was more money than what I wanted to spend £125.
So I looked online with the couple of pen shops that I have bought from, but found although they sold Waterman ink, they didn't sell the pens, which I though was odd (have found it on Amazon for £75).
I have also done a search on here and as far as I can tell the is not a single post mentioning them.
I am quite surprised that the is no mention of them here. It felt and wrote like a very good quality pen, well balanced, even when posted, and smooth to write with.
Is the some reason I'm not seeing that people on here don't appear to pay them any attention?

I take it back have now found a review of this pen.
Didn't appear when I searched within this site, but popped up when I did a Google search
    http://fpgeeks.com/forum/showthread....an-Perspective

Do you think this pen is with £75.00
I have just got into fountain pens, and if you have seen my previous thread have just purchased a Lamy Safari, as a tester to see how I would get on. I have enjoyed writing with it which is why I am now looking to upgrade. Will still use the Lamy as my carry around pen.
    Cheers.

Hi! Wow, that review was almost a year ago, one of my very first posts! The Waterman Perspective was my gateway pen, and a present, so I won't ever sell it, even though it could fund the purchase of a pen I might want more...

Is it worth 75 quid? Given it cost my grandparents €130, yes, absolutely! I have to say, I don't use it all that much now, mainly because I don't think the fine nib suits me. But I chose it in the shop that day when I knew no better, and for exactly the reasons it sprung out at you. If I were to get another one, it would be a broad, or at least a medium, but that is my personal taste. Then it would be almost perfect.

I do think it's an excellent pen, and if that's the price you've found it for, and you like it, I say go for it! Glad to see we've turned you over to the Light of St Nibius!

How are the floods in Worcester? I drove through with my parents shortly after Christmas, the county ground was more of a lake!
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

    Hi Snedwos,

Most of the floods have receded now and all back to normal, but it was bad, most of Worcester became a giant lake.
Have now found the Waterman on WH Smiths website for £42.00, but sold out, not surprised at that price.
Site says they will have more stock in 1 to 2 weeks, so going to wait and try to buy it from them.

    Hi NeoGeo,
The Perspective has been on my pen wish list for a while:
Waterman Perspective black or lightblue with silver trim

For a bit of a laugh have a look at the prices here:
    http://www.penshop.com.au/page/waterman.html

I was also surprised by the lack of information about it.

One of the staff of a local penshop extolled the virtues of the Waterman Expert but a black Perspective caught my eye.

    Good luck in your quest.
