Default Pen Stands - 3d printed

I recently got into 3D printing; it is a lot of fun and many ideas run in my tiny brain.

Among those I printed this stand as a 1st attempt. Comments?

This functions well. I would use it as base for something nore elaborate and decorated, as pen stands form part of the collection and they should be pretty too : ) I don't know what is possible with your equipment but you have the makings of something nice.

The printer can so many good things, it is me learning how to use CAD to design such things which is slow.
I have been printing cookie cutters for my wife, and it took me 2 weeks to get the feel for it.

I was thinking more on a curved type holder or a small drawer for cartridges/ink
