    Default Monteverde?

I have seen these on several pen sites, but they are not given their own brand forum. Are they good quality pens?
What can you tell me about them?
    Thank you.

I have a Prima. It's a good writer, reliable, one of my favorite pens.

I also have two Primas. One was my first pen. They are both beautiful, well-made, and the stub nibs I have on them are butter smooth. I've always been surprised they are so reasonably priced.

I have an Artista Crystal (M), an Intima (1.1mm stub) and an Impressa (Also 1.1mm stub), all are very pleasant to use although the Impressa took some tuning to get working. All are pens I enjoy, but the Intima is my favourite of the three. If I get back to Monteverde I'll likely buy a Prima.

I know a few people that have had issues with them (me included). In the end, it really is a case of "you get what you pay for".
However, being distributed by Yafa, you should be looked after if you have an issue (and are willing to pay their high shipping costs).

I have heard about quality control issues with nibs and feeds, as well as some pens just looking cheap (mould lines in the material; very "plastic" appearance; etc...).

But... having said all of that, there are many people that have had no issues whatsoever with their pens. On top of that, they have some really pretty pens at a very attractive price point.
It all depends what you are after and what you want. If you currently use a Noodler's pen and go to a Monteverde, you will be very happy indeed! I would look at the specific models that you are interested in and research each one. Every pen manufacturer has a bad day, and a bad pen... sometimes, you just get "the last one off the line".

I hope that this helps in some way, I want to be honest with you about my experiences and those of the users around me.

I have only seen their tool pen, which as an engineer think it is awesome.
I seems to be well made and the mechanical pencil hasnt given me any trouble

Nothing to write home about but some of them are good little pens. I have one somewhere but rarely use it.

My brother got a Monteverde Poquito last year. It only takes short international cartridges. He complained that it was too slender, but worse, it constantly skipped and always had hard starts.
