Thanks to Mrs. KWZ's sending a bunch of ink samples to us in Wrocław in time for our Fountain Pen Day meeting Friday! (Taking the rest of the samples to the Madrid Pen Show. KWZ Inks represent!)

Six. Too many for purely utilitarian use, I'm finding.

I had 7 inked until this one fell out of my hand and met its final, ku-jaku-everywhere demise. Will be sending this on to Lamy USA.

Still four but not the same four but the same four converters.
I have 12 pens inked, 5 of them are Esterbrooks, 1 Sheaffer, 6 Waterman

Still four and still the same converters but still a different set of four.
I just wrote my Delta dry (that somehow vaguely reminds me of American Pie) which takes me down to four. And I'm temporarily resisting the temptation to ink something else up before I write another pen dry.
On the other hand, it is kind of tempting to fill my one American Mabie Todd Swan to go with my only English one, which is already inked.

11 pens inked at the moment.

Three today but I will likely put one away.
Just the one, everything else is still stored after moving. But I have a new bottle of Edelstein Smoky Quartz to make me feel like there's some variety.

I have ten pens inked up, with ten different inks going. I'd like to get it down to nine, but I am finding that hard to do.
Four at the office (all Lamy Studios which match the ink: black, blue, red, and salamander for the stainless steel) but those don't count because they live at the office.
Four at home (two Pelikans and two Pilots).
I currently have four of my five pens inked up, and feel that's too many. I don't know how people keep track when they're in double figures. I've vowed to myself not to ink any more until I'm down to two - one piston filler, and one other.
Long term I want no more than three inked at any time - one pocket pen, one piston filler for general scribbles, and one comfortable desk pen for writing long letters (and only filled when I'm doing that). Any more is simply inking stuff up for the sake of it (for me personally), and risking drying out, clogging pens and wasting ink.
Right now it is 10 or 11. Rarely less than 8 or more than 12.

Almost all of them: 9 of 12. But I am new at this and they are new to me... Kind of hard to resist when I want to see how they write. Right? Also, I am testing (too many) ink samples.
With the suddenly large collection of pens, and my capricious opinions about most of them, I am already considering thinning the herd.
I have set a limit of 5, with the hopes of staying within said artificial limit to try and curb my negligence in cleaning
Omas lover, and have a few other pens
Today, it's zero. Haven't been writing lately for some reason, and they were drying out.
