It was a real surprise to see what you were making at the end. I was wondering why there were so many blowholes !
One suggestion, you should have used Noodler's Manjiro Nakahama Whaleman's Sepia instead of HOD.
It looks great. Are you going to stain or varnish it ?
sinistral hypergraphica - a slurry of ink
"Nothing means less than zero"
the finish its just bee wax , i will look into the Noodler's Manjiro Nakahama Whaleman's Sepia, i agree some colours would be nice.
That is awesome!
Sweet item! The video looks great too- did you do it all yourself or did you have help?
I used a Canon powershot A4000 IS HD and for editing Windows movie maker .
That is so cool! Well done!
To keep your project in the spirit of Melville, your whale should really be all white, scarred (huge octopus scars around the jaws?) and battered, maybe with a broken harpoon sticking out here and there.
Two thumbs up. Harpoons = Pens? Fantastic.:thumbup:
Wow, that's impressive, thanks for sharing. Planning on doing any other animals? Just curious...
Concerning the sperm whale eventually there will be also fountain pens stuck in the side of the beast.
The catfish is also in my project.
This is brilliant. I hated the book but love the project! Functional and artsy I love it.
Very cool!
