Question Stipula Model-T. As in Trouble | Problems from the start

I'm hopeful someone will shed some light & lend some insight for me on this---

My first purchase arrived from FPH with the nib slightly bent, perhaps the cap was put on too tight. I returned that pen and received a replacement. The replacement looked a bit different, though.

From the pen's barrel, there's a clear tube of plastic extending about 1/4". The originally-shipped pen did not have this. This, I suppose, threads onto the nib unit.

I thought the pen was converter-compatible, and was told the Retro-51 converters would work. They don't.

Does this mean the pen eyedropper-only?

I think the pen is supposed to take a Stipula converter...it is eyedropper/converter/cartridge I think.

    Good luck!

My Stipula T came with a converter. In fact, I've never used the pen as an eye dropper. The converter I have looks a lot like the Schmidt K5 with Stipula imprinted on it. Can you contact the dealer about getting a new converter?
