    Default Great Pen Shots

Have you ever just taken a nice photo of your pen? I noticed that my table had excellent lighting and I got this shot. My husband was like what are you doing! Since we were in a restaurant and I was doing a pen photoshoot lol.

Nice! And from Tapatalk and your phone as well! And you didn't get any catsup or salad dressing on the pen! I have to say that Raden is enviable! My compliments! Incredible VP.

Favorite Saturday morning things! A worn journal with a nice fountain pen. A hot cup of Jamaican Blue Mountain Wallenford Estate and my favorite timepiece.

Love a great pen photo. I know what you mean cause sometimes you think you have everything perfect and the pic looks, well, just not right. Somethings askew and not right.

Then there are times you just point and click and thats exactly what happens. Everything clicks and works.

Love the Raden and LOVE that Agatha

Lol yes I tried super hard not to get any sort of dressing on the pen . Love your photo as well! I think composition is definitely an area I need work on in pen photography.

That timepiece is TDF btw. I tried to incorporate a timepiece into one of my latest photos but I'm still wanting to do a reshoot.

Was going for a sort of analog/digital thing, but it's hard to tell in that photo. This was the whole spread

    Good job on all accounts!

That is one of the more wonderful things about hobbies. You can mix and match photography (one of my first loves) with collecting. Whether it's coins, pens, mineral specimens, or ??

What kind of camera do you have?

I'm not a photographer, and most of the time it's just by luck that I get the elements to play nice. Most of my pen photos, like this one, have been with my phone, so there isn't a lot of adjustment I can make. I was always happy with this one, shot so that I could send it to the boys at Franklin-Christoph and Mike Masuyama (because I liked the pen so much):

Great shot and great pen too! Would love a pocket 66 in antique glass. Missed the last stockroom special for that one

Thank you! Sadly these were taken with my iPhone lol! I have an SLR somewhere in the house but it's older and I don't even know where it is right now. It's on my list to get a new one though
