Very nice and even - to me it looks a bit strained, almost too even yet; I would assume that will remedy itself simply as time goes by and you don't have to concentrate as much anymore. That being said, I personally have pretty bad penmanship, though I normally always write cursive (unless asked not to), but every note from my father-in-law brings us joy simply because we can admire (and - yes - envy!!) his penmanship - even though he uses any old Bic. His lettering is even, but not without variation, and with a natural flow that makes it look both controlled and unrestrained. For lack of a better word, it just looks very "natural", and that maybe stems from a life-long practice built on being tought the basics rather rigorously in grade school.
Anyways, thanks for sharing, and enjoy the journey (I still love to bring my own pig-scrawls to paper, its higgledy-piggledy looks being very much a mirror of my brainwaves!)
P.S.: Keep all your early samples to be able to check how it all evolves!

Wow, gorgeous. Your penmanship is the way we're all supposed to do it; or at the very least what we, who learned to write the Palmer Method during the 1950s were supposed to do it.

I think your handwriting is beautiful. I have been practicing for a year and a half, and my handwriting has only improved a little bit.

Just a brief follow up

Wow, I'm jealous. Reminds me of my mother's beautiful penmanship. I really need to try practicing.
How many hours of practice is this? I wish I'd seen a "before" exemplar.
Fred
I'm practicing every day, 2-3 hours.
I used to write cursive during studies, but stopped when started to work. I always had the hobby of collecting writing instruments.
Last year I started collecting again but my writing was .
Slowly I started to correct my writing, but not really improvements. I got hooked, used all available information I could find on internet, i decided then to purchase a good method. Michael Sull's method is the best, and since I started
... you can see for yourself.
I never used an oblique before, I was playing with a dip pen, a Japanese pen used for manga.
I'm also a perfectionist, I hope I will be more expressive when I will try flourish style.
I will search for some late writings if any left and post them.
For the rest it's just work, a lot of work.

Small or medium
What do you think?

Small looks more natural on this paper but I think that is because it does not cross too many horizontal lines.
The medium also looks a bit stretched there is quite a lot of space between some of the letters, so the small, like the first two sentences looks more natural and flowing to me.
I would love to practice business writing but have not the time. Kudos to you for doing a great job, inspiring to see the time invested pays off.
