Does anyone know if the Signature for Good Le Grande pens are comparable in size to the 146 or the 149?
The only thing that prevents me from buying a Montblanc 149 is the gold trim, and the 146, the size.

Have you considered the 149 in platinum trim?

Le Grand is an alternative designation for the 146.
I think you would be hard pressed to find a 149 in platinum trim. The only one I ever saw was an after-market customization and it is not mentioned on MB's website. There is a solid platinum one but, ironically, it has gold trim.

My bad, I was looking at the Legrand. The search feature on the MB website spit that out when I searched "149 Platinum"

I am not sure... I have a le grande rollerball and it is comparable to my Le grande traveller fountain pen or what is likely called a 147. This equates to a 146 for size.
