Susie's pen show site is showing Aug 10-13 for the 2017 DC show, but also that these dates are unconfirmed. Does anyone have confirmed dates for DC?

Wow. I anticipated that it would be the week before and I couldn't go. This, if accurate is exciting because I could go. Can anyone confirm?

I'd heard that an announcement about DC dates might be forthcoming at the Atlanta show. Anybody hear anything?

The official line coming out of Atlanta as reported by a number people like Myrna Lehrer and Lee Chait is
"DC Show: will be first or second weekend of August at one of four hotels in the Northern Va. area just outside DC. Further information to be available when it happens"
This came from Bob Johnson who was in Atlanta.
2017 San Francisco Pen Show
August 25-27th, 2017
Sofitel San Francisco Bay Hotel
223 Twin Dolphin Drive
Redwood City Ca, 94065
I heard from a couple friends at the show that the venue still hasn't been chosen.
The arrogance is pretty staggering.
If it happens, I'll be staying home.

Goodness, Jon, the Potomac never looked so blue! And when did they paint the Chain Bridge?

While I'd love to go to the SF Show, flying across the country is not in our budget, where DC is a day's drive down the coast. But at this point, I'm not even sure we'll make it to DC.
