I have six pens inked. Just got a TWSBI Diamond Mini. And another pen on the way!
About time to de-ink a couple!

I am but a simple caveman.
I wil never have more than 5 pens inked at a time...otherwise I feel like one might get left out.
I have 22 pens and all of them inked...
9 pens inked, one pen uninked. This wasn't supposed to happen...
Lamy Safari 1.1 - De Atramentis Gandhi
Noodler's Ahab - Edelstein Aventurine
Baoer 801 - Diamine Red Dragon
Sheaffer No-Nonsense - Blue Cartridge
Pelikan M215 B - Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher
Inoxcrom ?? - Noodler's Tiananmen
TWSBI 540 1.5 - Diamine Red Dragon
Lamy NexxM M - Diamine Ochre
Waterman Perspective F - Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.
I keep 24 inked and manage to use all of them over the course of about 3 days, but I am beginning to consider cutting the number back

12 in my daily carry and all usually need reinking by Sunday. I do some rotation in and out of that 12 over time, but keep some staples (like Homo Sapiens bronze age) always. Not possible for me to carry less, and if I had a bigger case it would be more.

It varies but I have anywhere from 6-12 pens inked at any given time.
Fountain Pen Sith Lord | Daakusaido | Everything in one spot
Currently in my rotation are 17 pens that are inked.

Nice to know I'm not the craziest person on here...

Well, I was going to say 8. Down from 12 last week. But then I remembered the 3 calligraphy pens and the 4 drawing pens that still have ink in them ... must empty some before they gum up ... now I've got something else to do before I leave the house.
... Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working [Pablo Picasso] ...
Right now, I think 14
Three used as my day/work carry:
• Pelikan M400 M > Pelikan 4001 Blue-Black
• TWSBI Mini B > J. Herbin Lie de Thé
• Pilot Prera MI > Pelikan Edelstein Mandarin
And one as a desk pen (at list "used as"):
• Retro51 Tornado F > Waterman South Sea Blue
✖ Ilan Gai ✒ An Addict ✖
hard to tell for sure. over 20.
Some daily, some once a week or so. I do try to write at least one sentence with each of them once a week to keep them from drying out. I don't like inks that dry out in a matter of days of not using the pen, because I simply can't always use it that much and having to flush and re-ink takes up too much time
Currently I have:
*Lamy AL-stars*
Purple, M: Pilot Iroshizuku Murasaki-shikibu
Silvergreen, M: Noodler's Blue nose bear
Silverblue, M: J.Herbin Blue myosotis
Ruby red: Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo
*Lamy Safari*
Aquamarine 1, EF: Diamine Marine
Aquamarine 2, EF: Platinum Carbon Black
Pink, F: Diamine Registrar's Blue Black
Orange w/ red clip, EF: Noodler's Habanero
Blue w/ red clip, EF: Noodler's Bad blue heron
Grey, EF: Noodler's Lexington Gray
Demonstrator (not vista), M: Pilot Iroshizuku Syo-ro
Green (2012), F: Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku-rin
and:
Lamy ABC (EF, red top): Platinum Carbon black
Lamy Studio Violet (1.1): Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa
My.pen (some schoolpen I bought in Lithuania, by Herlitz I think) M: De Atramentis Plum
Noodler's Nib Creaper: Private Reserve Tanzanite
Green marbled Mabie Todd Swan self-filler (fine+semi-flex): Noodler's Turquoise (diluted)
Black Mabie Todd Swan SM100/60 (fine+flex): Diamine Registrar's Blue Black (diluted)
McGiven Cameron The Waverley (blue top, fine+semi-flex): Rohrer & Klingner Salix
Waterman (medium+semi-flex): De Atramentis Elderberries
Pelikan M215 (medium): Pilot Iroshizuku Ku-jaku
TWSBi Mini (1.1): Private Reserve Avacado
I mostly use the Safari's, AL-stars and the ABC for my drawings (and writing with my drawings). If I can't bring them all I tend to bring the Pelikan, the TWSBi mini and the marbled Swan, and if at all possible, the Waverley (which does not have a Waverley nib, sadly)
I also try to ink up each pen with a different ink but sometimes that doesn't work out. Aquamarine 2 has PCB in it because I lend it to a friend for her drawing-exercises. It worked, I got her hooked
I'll get that one back today. Pink has DRBB in it because it had some issues with Private Reserve Rose Rage. I love the bright pink colour but I don't use it *that* often and it tends to dry out a bit, so I decided to ink it up with DRBB for my trip. DRBB doesn't usually fail me
And for the eye-candy:

I just remembered I also have my Ackermann Pump pen inked up with Noodler's 54 Mass. Not sure if that one counts too...
I feel like at this point I should say 'I need help...'. But I won't

I keep saying the same thing.... would like to keep only about a half-dozen inked, not counting the Perennially Inked Editing Hero 616 and PI Check-Writing Hero 329.
I have about nine, ten now?
1 Birthday present Amber Shimmer W'man Carene, fat B nib, almost empty W'man Red cart enlivened by some JH Lie de The, producing a magically shading color
2 Guanleming 193 fude, which I keep re-filling. This time, W'man Havana and Levenger Shiraz.
3 Pilot Plumix that was orig. loaded w/ Noodler's AirCorp Blue-Black but got the dregs of Blue Nose Bear and Skrip Peacock, awesome color mix
4 Charcoal 1.1 Safari with BLACK clip, and yes, dregs of Lamy Blk., Skrip Blk., and some unknown blue that came in a cart...yikes, I am on an ink-mixing jag...
5 Red Safari, F, Lamy Black
6 Blue Safari M, Lamy Blue, this is a garden-hose combo
7 Greenish tealish Pilot 78g M, Skrip Turquoise
8. NEW Black Ef Nemosine Singularity, Noodler's Zhivago, love this ink/nib combo
9. NEW ivory Nemo, F, Noodler's BSIAR, another love-this combo, really liking both Nemos
Of course this is totally not counting the many Preppies and Petits and Varsities. Right?
My other pen is a Montblanc.
And my other blog is a tumblr!
And my latest ebook, for spooky wintery reading:
