I keep saying the same thing.... would like to keep only about a half-dozen inked, not counting the Perennially Inked Editing Hero 616 and PI Check-Writing Hero 329.

I have about nine, ten now?

2 Guanleming 193 fude, which I keep re-filling. This time, W'man Havana and Levenger Shiraz.

3 Pilot Plumix that was orig. loaded w/ Noodler's AirCorp Blue-Black but got the dregs of Blue Nose Bear and Skrip Peacock, awesome color mix

4 Charcoal 1.1 Safari with BLACK clip, and yes, dregs of Lamy Blk., Skrip Blk., and some unknown blue that came in a cart...yikes, I am on an ink-mixing jag...

5 Red Safari, F, Lamy Black

6 Blue Safari M, Lamy Blue, this is a garden-hose combo

7 Greenish tealish Pilot 78g M, Skrip Turquoise

8. NEW Black Ef Nemosine Singularity, Noodler's Zhivago, love this ink/nib combo

9. NEW ivory Nemo, F, Noodler's BSIAR, another love-this combo, really liking both Nemos

Of course this is totally not counting the many Preppies and Petits and Varsities. Right?

14. Four of those were new in the last week, so they HAD to be inked, right? An additional two are calligraphy pens, so they possibly belong in a different category. And one is a Pilot Varsity, thus, auto-inked. I've written with at least half of them this week.

I'm curious about the frakenpen...please explain!

Pardon the delay in responding, I've only just read your request. The pen was initially a dark blue/black M250 that developed a large crack in the top of the barrel. I think the previous owner may have tried to remove the piston mechanism at some stage and started the problem. The crack was initially very tiny and didn't extend down past the piston. As I used the pen (filling and flushing) over time, the crack got longer and longer until it started to leak ink. I was able to purchase a black replacement M400 barrel complete with piston mechanism. After the switch I describe the result as an "M400 Frankenpen" to denote the mix of parts.
