Default Cotton content - fountain pen unfriendly?

Is paper with cotton (rag) content a problem for fountain pens and their inks? Or is cotton irrelevant?

Usually it is good. The higher the cotton content the better. It is usually lower in acidity, lasts longer, is less susceptible to bleed through and more consistent sheet to sheet quality.

I prefer paper with rag or cotton content.
