I love Parker Jr. Duofolds, the compact but stubby dimensions and the awesome clip and cap-top design.
So two orange ones (I am a fan of orange pens in general) arrived a few weeks ago, and a full black arrived this week.
As I was cleaning these up, I notice one of the orange body's cap is all chipped, and the barrel of the full-black one is undergoing restoration, so on a whim I put the black cap on the orange barrel, and it hit me!
Black cap and orange body looks darn good together.
Sure, it may vaguely resemble a very expensive pen named after a famous author who wrote about the old man and the sea, or one of the burnt variety from the famous large-beaked-bird pen company, but I think this combination of Parker Jr. Duofold can hold its own in terms of coolness and charm.
