Looking for bottle ink in my area

Does anyone know if any stores carry bottle ink in the Kannapolis/concord NC area besides hobby lobby since all they have is India ink

You can buy online and have it shipped to you pretty fast. Franklin-Christoph has some good ink, and they are in NC. Pen stores online have ink, and so does Amazon.

Besides online shopping you can usually find ink bottles in some local stationery, office supply or art supply stores. You can also visit your nearest Montblanc boutique.

Exactly. Even the little stationery store here in Santiago has a few bottles of Pelikan and Waterman inks.

We used to have a local stationary store that closed years ago. Now we have staples and office max and thats all I can think of off hand and I want to be able to see the inks in person since I'm just getting into fountain pens. Are there any inks at hobby lobby that can be trusted in a fountain pen?

I would recommend you start looking into ink samples. Depending on the vendor, you can get anywhere from 2-5mL of ink, which gives you plenty to try out and decide if you like it.

I would also go with buying online. Maybe look at Amazon for inks that you might like to try?
