    People being people.

Groundhog Day is about enlightenment. I'm not sure this thread is.

You know what. I for one appreciate David (EoC)'s contributions to FPG.

He came up with topics of discussions and I learn a lot from the responses.

Do I always agree with his view? Of course not, we are different persons.

But that's what makes this forum useful and good: Genuine questions, comments, and preferably free of snarky-ness.
I'm not questioning the usefulness or validity of actual content--when and where it exists. I've no problems whatsoever with different viewpoints or personalities--to a point. What is as exhausting as it is entertaining is the ubiquitous, egregious, insane, and overblown drama that inevitably accompanies the content. If an individual insists on acting like an hysterical toddler, nobody should be surprised at the reactions to such behavior.

Iím with penwash, I know EOC quite a long time, already from the dark side.
He was always eccentric, but I like his contributions, he makes the forum brighter and more interesting.
As for my part I would like to see him contributing more again.

    And his handwriting is excellent

Adding a name to an ignore list is for the users own benefit because they dont want to read the posts of the person being ignored.

    No BS please.

You cannot call another person's perception* of something as BS unless you are attempting to gaslight them.

*this presumes an understanding of the term 'perception' of course.

You do a good gaslighting job on your own, I couldn't compete.

The point I was making was if people want to ignore posts it is their choice and nothing to do with having fingers in ears, a better comparison is changing the channel on the radio when you don't like the music being played.

No offence, I wish you well, but I don't want to have a dialogue with you. It has also been said above that this is the wrong thread to have this, or indeed any exchange, so please, give it a rest.

You make a fallacious comment and don't like being called on it?

If you don't wish to have any dialogue, don't engage. Hypocrisy otherwise.

Also, you may think that you can tell others what to do... good luck with that attitude.

Works both ways. If an individual (Dreck in this case) insists on acting like the thought-police, she/he/it should not be surprised at the reactions they get either.

One thing you generally do not see is me telling anyone else how to write or behave. I may point out stuff I think is wrong, but I don't insist on people changing their character just to appease the fragile facets of my own.

Also, in my opinion, everyone has something of value to add. Restricting data is, in my view, a rather self-limiting act. This is my opinion, and as above I would not insist anyone adopt it, though I may encourage it. Significant difference.
