Default WTB Brown marbled/flaked fountain pen

    Hello

As you can tell from the title and picture below, I'm looking for a brown marbled or brown flaked fountain pen.
I'll be using it with my brown inks.

Examples I've found are shown here:

Let me know if you have such pen, no matter which brand or nib.
    I prefer gold trims.

    Thank you
    Ruben - Belgium

    Hi Ruben:

I have a beautiful Levenger True Writer Kyoto (the pen in your middle picture) if you're interested. I will message you the details!

I have the Sheaffer Balance II amber glow (your top-left photo) with Sheaffer's factory stub, a fantastic nib IMHO. I can toss in a Balance box and papers. I tried to contact you by PM. Send me a PM if you want the pen.

Thank you, I defenly saw your message. I placed the Sheaffer balance in one of the pictures because the material is stunning. However, the balance has a reputation that the material is quite fragile and breaks easily. Is that true?

I've read such comments. I've owned this pen for a decade and it has displayed no such defect. I don't baby it, but I don't abuse it, either.

Abuse a pen? Who would do such a thing?

You seem to be missing one of the FPN pens of the year made by Stipula, as well as the Aurora Optima 365LE. I'm aware that the latter is outside of your price range.

Woah great Stipula pen, however after some time searching I did not find any link to buy this pen.
Does it have a specific name?

Thank you for the suggestion, feel free to add more suggestions!

    Stipula Etruria Amber Grande 2.jpg

The Stipula Etruria Grande piston-filler (above) is the best known of them, though Stipula used the same material for several models. The earliest version has 9k clip and cap band, and is one of the most attractive pens I've ever owned. In good or better condition, all the Etrurias would come in much more than $200.

You might find a Stipula Suprema made of the same material (below). I owned this one, and the seller loved it so much he bought it back!

Somewhere on FPN, we had a thread comparing the Stipula pens made of this material, with pens side-by-side in photos.

The Stipula Etruria pen that I have was specially made for FPN. Instead of having the 9ct clip and cap band these were made from silver for FPN, and it's a cartridge/converter filler. I'm not 100% sure but I think the gold version was a piston filler.

My pen has a factory 18ct stub nib and I bought it as an unused pen from someone on FPN. It's in mint condition, and doesn't get used very often, but it's a stunning pen. It's on the second level of my collector case, and it seems to leap out from among the crowd whenever I remove the top level. I think I paid slightly more than $200 because I was the second owner. I don't know how much FPN originally sold them for.

Not sure how hard it will be to find but the Namiki Impressions In amber is a nice match to the look you want. They go anywhere from $100-$150. You just need to find someone that wants to let theirs go. I know I am not motivated to sell. Here is a really bad picture of mine.

I bought mine on this very board. The for sale post should still be here. It was a year ago IIRC. Was I a sumgai? I know I did not pay over 150.

Not quite the same as your original request, but the Edison Collier in Antique Marble goes for $150 with your choice of nib.

However, I feel the material is too orangey and not as flaked as I would love.
The size of a Collier is perfect, so I meight get it made out of this material: https://www.exoticblanks.com/Chocola...ian-Resin.html
