Three good things from your day

1. Guardian Service. I've been looking for a piece of this historical cookware for years, and fleabay prices had been crazy, and natch, shipping kills you.

Today I found one, with a glass lid, in very good condition. Don't know if the lid is original, but the casserole is not pitted, and just needs a light cleaning.

2. Six bucks.

Can't wait to try it!



3. Made it home in advance of the snow.

1. Crossing lots of items off my to-do list.
2. Drinking a delicious red wine from beautiful crystal wine glasses (which were a lovely gift).
3. Bánh mì sandwich for dinner!

1. Laundry room cabinet separated itself from wall and crashed down on washer/dryer as DH opened cabinet door...



BUT... no one was hurt. Thank God.

2. New neighbor helped move fallen cabinet to garage.

3. We gave him cookies, lol.

Yikes!

1) Was able to replace the Thermostat Fuse Thingey and SAVED the Dishwasher all by myself!

1. It's like six degrees but I don't have to go out in it.

2. Laundry room under control. Mostly.

3. Made applesauce from leftover vanilla brown sugar and some Macs that were a bit soft. Added bonus: the house smells niiiice.

1. Got my letter writing mojo back after the chaos of christmas.
2. Steak and salad for dinner.
3.Finally found a bulb to fit mum's display cabinet.

1.Got the new kitchen trolley built first time despite it being flat pack!
2.Sweet and sour pork for dinner, trying out a new recipe, but seriously how bad can it be it's sweet and sour pork.
3.Got a nice Pinot grigio for tonight.

1. Finally plucked up the courage to weigh myself...Lost 10 pounds!!
2. Got round to taking some junk to the charity shop, I can almost move in the bedroom again.
3. Doctor rang and mum's last round of tests were clear.

1. I've been able to step away from schoolwork long enough to post on the forums. Hi y'all!

2. Day off from school for MLK Day, which means I have an extra day to catch up on schoolwork. How I need an extra day to catch up on schoolwork only one week into the Spring semester, I don't even know or want to consider.

3. My Lamy 2K came back this weekend--had to get the tabbed spring replaced because I was a dink and lost it while cleaning the pen, and they not only replaced it but sent along a spare...they must know me.

1. Made it back from the store with taters 'n' onions and a bonus avocado. Panic-shopping done!

2. My century 3776 arrived.
3. My tomoe river journal arrived too.

3. Did grown up paperwork I've been putting off for weeks.

Sometimes small victories need recognising. Tomorrow I might even leave the house.

1. Started the day with a lovely, cool summery morning walk through the gardens and along the lake. (I enjoyed it AND have felt virtuous all day)

2. First wine club delivery from a local winery and the selection looks great. (Need to make them last 3 months!)

3. Ordered the full set of 150th Anniversary inks from Diamine and J. Herbin Stormy Grey. (They should arrive at about the same time as I return from my holidays, so will help ease the transition to reality.)

1. It's nearly the weekend

2. My new ASA Galactic arrived from India today

3. Filled in my InCoWriMo downloaded calendar ready for next month
