Very teeny, but I went through a notebook in which I used to write first drafts, and it was half-empty. I cut out the blank pages for note-making and such. It's good vintage paper that takes fountain pen ink well, and there are WAY more than three pages.
My other pen is a Montblanc.
And my other blog is a tumblr!

1. Stewart Island salmon from the local farmers' market this morning.
2. Great food and interesting wines at the Wine and Food festival today.
3. Some peace and quiet.
1. Someone was clearing out a desk and gave us a leather computer bag.
2. Got to try a sample of a no-longer-attainable ink....it's MYSTERIOUS!
3. About to have some pizza and a salad.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

Uhmmm.....two to four inches of snow. But:
1. Panic-shopping complete.
2. A day of horse-racing.
3. "Mexican lasagna:" layering tortillas, enchilada sauce, meat, cheese, refried beans, more cheese...AND testing out a new casserole dish.
My other pen is a Montblanc.

It's a little after 9am Sunday morning, so these are from Saturday:
1. Used an expiring reward voucher during a sale and managed to buy a $100 skirt for $20.
2. Went out to lunch with my beautiful daughter. It was lovely to have quality time, just the 2 of us.
3. Early night with a big sleep.
Bright sunny day, above zero for most of the day and I was able to out for a walk without a coat
I saw grass and buds on the lilacs
I was greeted by a chipmunk and bird song
Neo (April 1st, 2015)
1. A new and unidentified creature has shown itself in my desktop saltwater aquarium
2. Off work until Tuesday
3. Found the Vivaldi I wanted on iTunes
"Nolo esse salus sine vobis ...” —St. Augustine
1. Pretty much perfect 6 day weekend. Three days in London, two new pens, Letters Live, burgers, pancakes, birthday, board games, bowling, pizza. Turning 30 ain't so bad after all!
2. Purry Cat tramples when I get in to bed. I think if Doris had her way I would spend all my time in bed for her to cuddle. I'd be ok with that.
3. Cuddles with tiny new niece in 3 days time!
1. My car passed it's NYS inspection (I was only 3 months past due).
2. Finished wiring up the new lights in the garage, it is now super bright and no longer dark and dingy.
3. About to eat some pizza with a cat curled up in my lap.
Three good things from my day?
1. I have a roof over my head
2. I have enough food to eat
3. I have fountain pens and ink with which to write
In the overall scheme of things, those make any day pretty darned good.
1. Delicious, locally-roasted coffee.
2. Discovering new music.
3. Someone is cooking dinner for me.
Pendragon (April 19th, 2015)
1. It was a beautiful Autumn day and the streets are full of orange/red trees and scrunchy leaves
2. An especially challenging assignment has worked out much better than I expected and I am rather proud of myself.
3. Enjoyable walk with my wonderful little old dog who enjoys every element of his day.
1. An afternoon which turned into a night in Brighton with a smattering of shoe shopping. One pair because I needed something sensible for work and another just because they are very cool.
2. Small feet means I got the second pair in the kid section so no VAT.
3. An early start to swing by a boot fair when I picked up this. It needs a clean - nothing else. I paid the man his asking price of £15 and left very quickly before he changed his mind.
Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup.
