2. Found out wu tang clan are coming to Manchester.
3 had some celebratory drinks and tapas for the father-in-laws birthday.

I've been busy, here are some highlights from the past week:

• a new (to me) guitar!
• working on a calligraphed certificate of authenticity for a friend
• my 3-year-old in the car this AM: "something flew into my ear!" "What was it?" "An idea!"
• an unsolicited job offer
• grilled meats over charred coals
• it's a girl!

1. A quiet day at work.
2. Perfectly sweet and tangy mangoes from the farmers' market.
3. Placing a fun order with JetPens.

1. Deciding last night to take today off. Got the oil in the motorcycle changed, which was overdue just a little.
2. Picking up my newest acquisition - a Stipula Paparazzi, blue, with a broad nib. It's an eyedropper. :-) And the nice email from Goulet that they saw my two orders (because I forgot something) and were able to combine them and refund shipping. Love them!
3. Taking an unexpected long nap with my kitty snugged into my side. I say some pizza for dinner will make this just right.

1. Early morning trip to the farmers' market; it was a beautifully warm day, but not yet too hot, and I enjoyed wandering from stall to stall.
2. A delicious dinner, cooked up with wonderful local produce.
3. Summer-time gin and tonics.
