    Default Springtime

Spring in England is a wonderful time- wild garlic and bluebells in the woods, a Wood white butterfly in a little glade

When I lived in Shropshire, I used to commute to Keele and stop for lunch the Mainwaring Arms in Whitmore. Behind it was the grandest fields of bluebells I've ever seen.

Thanks for the photo and the memories.

Beautiful pictures - I have never been able to get a picture of butterflies, they are always too fast for me!
Hey, you wouldn't have any pictures of the English countryside would you?

I do- mostly of the South. I'm very fond of the Downs of Surrey and Sussex.
