Manu Propria Pens - Ao-Kinkumo-Nuri and Midori-Kinkumo-Nuri

I wanted to show two pairs of pens with new "kawari-nuri" experimental urushi lacquer.
All pens turned from Ebonite and finished with urushi lacquer.
One pair with a "ao-kinkumo-nuri (ao = blue, kin = gold, kumo = clouds)
One pair with a "midori-kinkumo-nuri (midori = green, kin = gold, kumo = clouds)
18 kt. gold nibs

More brilliant work from Martin. I am curious about something: on my monitor the inside of the cap of the ao-kinkumo-nuri models shows a bit of color - sort of light brown or tan. How did you accomplish that effect, or is it a trick of the light?
