But wow, what a great looking pen! And I am glad that you are back. I enjoy these a great deal.

What is the red pen with pink tassel? It's beautiful.

Very nice! However it illustrates a cultural difference I've encountered with Chinese people. They have a custom of not splitting a pear between a couple, because the Chinese word for "pear" sounds like part of the word used for divorce (involving the verb "to leave"). I guess the equivalent English word-play would be "splitting a pair/pear".
Well. This one took me a while to come up with... and in between there was the DC Pen Show. Anyways, the word is INVENTOR. I wanted to come up with something Rube Goldberg-esque. It is a snow-melting machine. (I am still traumatized by this last winter.). The pen is an Arco Omas Princess. The scan does not do that beautiful celluloid any justice whatsoever. The quill pen is one of my new acquisitions at the DC Show. I used it to draw in the black lines. Two more words and we go to the letter "J." Enjoy!

Writingrav, it was nice meeting you too. I always enjoy meeting people at the pen shows.
Bogon07: I do not post the princesses. The tassels drive me crazy when they are posted. (Think burlesque shows and tassels moving around...)
Tracy Lee: it was great seeing you too at the show. I am glad you like Mike's work. I am a big fan of him. My Mike nibs are all great too.
Today I managed to pick of some of the beauty of the celluloid better in the scan. The words are IRRELIGION and ITCH.

Ooohhhh...your pen is beautiful. I love the tassels. As always....your drawings are beautiful.
Crazyorange: The tassles are definitely fun. It was really nice to meet you at the DC Show.
Today's word is "J" which is written with the last of my Omas Princesses in Pearl Gray. The ink is Montblanc Midnight Blue which is a grayish blue. (If anybody knows of an available Omas Princess in the Royal Blue celluloid... I might be interested. Help?)
