It never works for me on an IPhone frankly. The rafflecopter always crashes.

I can appreciate that these new ways to enter into the prize draw may attract more entries and the advertiser/sponsor might feel more validated, but I feel a lot more motivated with the old the snail mail entry. It doesn't matter that it required more work and most of us never won, it was much more fun.

I'm not sure why everyone should enter.

I entered because I have always wanted one of them, but my funds for one always got diverted to pens that filled in holes in my collection.

It's true that giving is better than receiving, but in order to give, one must be receptive of grace first. Because my late Grandpa or 'Opa' used to say "there are skies above the sky", and someone, somewhere, would not be outdone in generosity.. Sorry for being too dramatic, but I can't really express my gratitude enough to FPGeeks and CONID or in any other way. Because this morning I was informed by email that I've won the raffle!
Now, dear friends, I will need your help on choosing the right pen. The CONID is definitely a cult classic that I often toy between the Sailor KOP, Pilot Emperor, and Pelikan M1005 (both demo and black). Perhaps not as big, but definitely on par in all front, one way or another because of the similarity in the huge ink capacity (except the kop!). Ebonite, safety shutoff valve, piston mechanism; yet with a twist. Since the kingsize is not released yet (I presumed not an option), here is the list in my order of preference:Dear Dan, Werner, and Francis,
You fellas nearly gave me a heart attack. Seriously. WOW!! Fan..bloody...tasssssticcccc!!! This is absolutely beyond extremely lucky, but I felt really really honoured. I had never won a raffle, ever. CONID? The stuff of legend. Euro engineering at its finest, for me? *faints*
Thank you. *snip*

#2 DCB DB SLK
Because of the ink capacity, I've already pretty much settled on a Rhodinized 18C Medium or Broad stub with the CONID logo. But for the body "configuration", I will consider every input. And for your convenience, here is their entire *Catalog on Facebook or at Conid Webshop ... please help!

Absolutely fantastic news! Congratulations. I'm so glad someone here won it.
As for which to pick, enjoy the choice. I liked this one.
Congratulations! Well, looking forward to your review
Congratulations!
Way to go!!!!!!!!! My heartiest compliments and congratulations!!!!!! And your grandpa was right. You've been an extremely generous person and I'm totally overjoyed for you from the bottom of my heart!!!!!
Regards,
Sub
Congratulations! You have been very helpful to me, as well as many other people so I think that it is good karma that you won.
I do not like demonstrators, but for a fill system like this I do not see how you can avoid getting a demonstrator barrel.
I also agree that a Rhodinated 18K nib is the way to go, although perosnally I would have it ground to EF but I am weird that way.
I am torn between the matte black and the shiny black, but in the end I like the matte finish better.
I also prefer the sleek over the streamlined over the flat-top.
So my proposal is BCB DB SLK with your preference of nib size in Rhodinated 18K.
Flat-Top with gold nib 18K and Black Derlin hardware, with the brown interchangable sleeve. How about a demonstrator with a Black derlin cap? How about a jewel engraved with your initials on the cap?

Sub
Congratulations! What wonderful news -- a fellow Aussie too!
Be sure to let us know what you decide on and show plenty of pics.

Sadly, I did not win. Le sigh

Current pen rotation: way too many!
Thank you for your kind word and input. I'm pretty much settled on something like this:
ECB (Ebonite Conid Bulkfiller) DB (Demonstrator Body) SLK (Sleek), CONID logo 18C Rhodinized Medium stub. Photos are taken from this thread. And I will buy the other sleeves if they let me.

PS: For those who are unfamiliar with Francis aka. Fountainbel, here's one of his repair diagrams. Cheers.
