Right now, I would like a Pilot Custom 823 in smoke grey, with an F nib. (After owning the TWSBI Vac 700 I would like another vacuum-filler, this time with a 14k nib.)

At the moment waiting for a couple deliveries, and for a certain dealer to get the Namiki Falcon SF nib back in stock. My personal "grail pen" is the Visconti "Declaration of Independence 1776" I'm seriously contemplating selling one of my guitars to fund the purchase...

I actually own my dream pen (Pilot Custom 823).

I will admit to a mild curiosity about the Pelikan m800, but not enough to lay out that kind of cash.

Nice! I just got my first. A '42 Maxima. Another Parker Vacumatic tops my list, just not sure which one. But I'm sure it'll be at the D.C. pen show.

Wow - that is one heck of a pen. I like the Liberty Bell on top of the plunger. All the best with your grail quest.

At the top of my wish list is an Omas Paragon Arco Celluloid.

    Runners-up, in no particular order:
    - Montegrappa Miya
    - Visconti Divina (cant decide between the standard black/silver or the desert springs version)
    - Aurora Talentum

    - Watermans in rose and blue ripple - 52V if I can get it
    - Parker 1st gen Vac junior in crystal (clear barrel)
    - Better example of one or two other vac juniors
    - Nakaya Piccolo in heki-tamenuri
    - Full size E.E. Ercolessi, vintage, any variety
    - Various vintage omai
    - An Aurora Optima, preferably but not necessarily green, for sentimental reasons

    I'd best stop there...

Several hard to find demonstrators are on my list. Not sure I'll ever find them at a price I can afford though...

Thagbert, thanks for starting this thread. Funny that when I posted it, I figured I'd have acquired them in the reverse order (snooker reference), however that wasn't the case. I can't figure out how to do a strike-through so I'll just start another set. I did get the Vacumatic with a F nib.

TWSBI Vac 700 Clear, F nib.

I think my first vintage acquisition is going to be a Vaumatic.

Of course, the Franklin-Christoph Model 19 is amazing looking.

I'm waiting on the TWSBI Mini Vac.

    Vintage (1950s) Montblanc 146, please.

My budget (comical) can't get near the prices these are going for now.

Do you know?, I have pens that I want but I have come to realise that my "Grail" pens don't actually write any nicer than the pens I've already got. Consequently some of the fire of acquisition has cooled a little.

Maybe one day I would like a Graf von Faber Castell Guilloche, something from ST Dupont and a nice Onoto - oh yes and a Nakaya. But to be honest, if I don't get them I won't shed tears.

There are several wishlists off course. There is the unobtainables, a short list with currently only 2 pens: Omas' Arte Italiana Paragon Noir Limited Edition and Parker's Duofold Centennial Mandarin Yellow 2013 Limited Edition. On the soon to purchase list are the KaWeCo al Sport gun metal and the Lamy AL-star mate black limited edition. The waiting list for whenever there is some surplus cash lying around keeps changing but the Visconti Rembrandt black, KaWeCo dia and the Pelikan Pure in silver keep poping up. These are not very expensive pens so maybe later in the year. I'm not much for vintage but a properly working '51 would be nice.
