A brown Pilot Custom 823 with an engineering change so it didn't have to be left open at the back to make it work. The nib would be a cursive italic that gives a subtle line variation such as extra fine and 0.7mm.
    It's all about the greys...

My dream pen is one that stops me from wanting other pens.

My dream pen would be a black piston filler 120 mm in length when closed and over 115 uncapped, made of modern plastic and hard rubber. The cap longer than the half of the total length (like in Pelikan 100 or Kaweco Sport) and total weight of under 15 g. Possibly, with a soft and sharp oblique medium nib. Flat top with very subtle streamlining. A pen with a long clip and higher cap top which I find particularly handy when reaching for a pen in a shirt pocket. Something close and between Pelikan 100, Conid Minimalisica, Aurora Optima and Kaweco Sport

You can remove the ink chamber seal from the plunger; the plunger still works as usual, but the ink chamber is no longer sealed against the feed, and you can leave the filling knob screwed tight; the same applies for the old version (not 700R and vac mini) of the TWSBI Vac 700.
