Default What kind of cartridge converter fits this kind of duofold ?

I have a duofold international which does not seem to accept converters from other duofold internationals as well as parker premier. The converters are too long. It only accepts Lamy cartridges like in the picture.
Can some duofold aficionados enlighten me on the type of converter I should get for this guy ?

Please ignore stick image on the side.

The modern Parker Duofold International and Centennial both came with a top of the range Parker twist action converter. If you see pictures of the pens for sale on eBay, they often have their converters with them.

If you have a modern Parker Duofold International that won't accept that converter then there might be something in the barrel preventing it from screwing on.

One that was born a rollerball. Look down inside the barrel and see what is in there.

I think you are absolutely right ! I am thinking of snipping a bit fro, the end of a converter to fit it into the barrel

Try fishing whatever is blocking the end out. Often it is just an insert.

Thanks so much jar. I used small clips and managed to fish the black plastic out and now converters fit the pen!

I am just going to record down the fix here so that anyone runs across this post can attempt it themselves. I had to remove the cap from the barrel. This I found to be impossible as there is some kind of glue sticking it in place. So, I used hot water externally as well as inside the pen barrel and it finally came off. After that, I used steel tweezers to remove the plastic insert from the cap. There is no need to use screw drivers or anything because it's just a piece of black plastic and not really screwed in.
