Just saw two images of a new clear Pilot Kakuno. One of them shows it with a Con 70 converter. I've asked Jet Pens to look into these...

Does it comes with the convertor out from the box or need to buy separately?

And an EF nib too! I do hope they become available too.
Edit: I hope I just ordered one from ebay after searching kakuno ef. The main picture showed a clear one, but there was also pink and blue in some of the other pictures and no way to specify. I 'm confident it will be ef, but have fingers crossed it will be clear as well.
Also, I just tried to put a con-70 in my old green Kakuno - it's too long.

It's all about the greys...

Just to confirm: the latest revision of the Kakuno indeed does fit the CON-70. I bought mine earlier this year, I am not sure when the divide between the "old" and the "new" Kakunos happened.
IIRC only the very early Kakuno releases didn't fit the con 70. It had ribs inside that blocked the end of the converter.

You're right. I have a red one that I ordered in June this year and the con-70 does fit. The green one mentioned above was bought last October must be one of the earlier ones with the ribs. I'll definitely be ordering a con-70 for the red. :-)

I've seen a couple clear Kakunos on sale on Ebay. I only searched "Pilot Kakuno" and I found some
I'd love one in medium but haven't seen one. Only EF and F.

If you're in the US you can get the Kakuno Clear with a medium nib from Tokyo Pen Shop. $16.50 + $5 shipping via USPS. Or free shipping on orders over $25. Hope this helps

You're welcome.
I received mine (an EF) from Japan yesterday. Cheapest buying option for me as I'm currently in Australia. Loaded it up with the black cartridge supplied to try it out for some ink sketching. It works well. It's extremely light and very comfortable in the hand. Good ink flow even though it's a true Japanese EF. I can easily write on each line on 4mm grid ruled paper. I like the shape of the snap-on cap - stops it rolling. The cheeky nib makes me smile.... :-p
I'm very happy with mine.
(Just in case anyone is wondering, it can't easily be used as an eyedropper as has holes in end of barrel).

Full circle...
I'm enjoying mine. EF nib needed a tiny bit of smoothing but only because I'm fussy. It writes very well, with a good wet line given the very fine nib. It's super for sketching as it's lightweight and comfortable, with a secure grip. For the price I'm very pleased. I hope you enjoy yours, Bill.
