I think you will like it here.
I for one have not completely given up on FPN. I will still visit FPN when I can catch a glimpse of it in between its frequent outages (or until I get banned for saying I like FP Geeks or something equally benign!) but I think this will become my new home. Dark Side or no, it is very pleasant here!

I was put on suspension a while ago, actually multiple times for minor posting infractions such as putting a post about a Sheaffer's pen on the Parker forum (slip of the keyboard/typing.)
Looking at my past emails, I was suspended a total of 4 times in 3 years.
So nice to be here now, and on the Fountain Pen Board too!

Give up Holy; a professional like me just does not have the time to play games! Sure, nice to have fun (After all, this is fun, right?) and share, not to be slapped around for silly stuff like posting on the wrong forum like I did one time a topic I thought was related to Parker but was actually a repair question; so I was put on suspension for 10 days.

Sometimes I was not even riding a bike, and I was kicked off. Just yesterday, someone asked me my opinion on how to smooth a nib, doing figure eight's on micro mesh paper, I told that person I could not vouch for that method, for sometimes what I say is taken out of context, and then I get banned for the "altered" comments, which I never said.It was remarkably easy. Like falling off a bicycle.
