Default Spring cleaning sale! Wet noodle, Pelikan, Dark Lilac, some repair supplies, and more

    Hey there!

I'm cleaning out a bunch of stuff that I don't need or want, or that I've been meaning to sell. There's some pretty cool stuff in here!

Free gift with purchase: I'll toss in a free pen and an ink sample with anything you buy!

    Most prices include shipping.

    Verification

    Sanford Special Lever Ringtop
: This is a pretty dang cool pen. The nib is a wet noodle that writes as a fine stub unflexed, and the feed keeps up well with flexing.

The cap is not original to the body, but it seals very well (better than most pens of this era do, honestly) and I've never once had an issue with the pen drying out, even if left for weeks.

Because the cap is not original, the chasing is slightly different on the body and cap. Chasing is very clean on both, and it took me a while to notice the difference. It's only noticeable if you're looking for it.

The cap is also very very slightly discolored. It's only noticeable in bright light, and I only noticed it while taking these photos. I'm happy to reblack it for you, but please read up on the subject of reblacking (deoxidizing) before asking me to, or doing it yourself. It's quite controversial.

The imprint on the barrel is very clean.

I forgot to include a photo, but the cap posts deeply and securely. Very comfortable to write with posted or unposted.

This pen is in B condition, but given the replacement cap, it's a D.

I'd like $175 for this pen.

    Spoiler:
SOLDDagong 56 Retractable: This is a pretty shameless knockoff of a Pilot Vanishing Point/Capless. It's decently done, but you can read about some of its flaws in the Imgur album.

One flaw not mentioned is that the clip is secured above the trap door, and not as tightly as it should be. This causes the nib to dry out very quickly. I wouldn't ink this pen with anything other than Waterman or Callifolio, or maybe some of the tamer Diamines. Not a good pen for saturated inks.

The body of the pen has knurled plastic on it, similar to Zebra 301 pens and pencils. It's actually SUPER comfortable to write with.

This is a great pen to get if you're not sure if you'll like the clip placement of the VP or not. I believe it's similar in size to a Decimo.

Asking $20 for this pen. D condition due to misaligned nib unit and bending of nib slot. ~~ SOLD

    Spoiler:
SOLD Hero 366: I'm pretty sure 366 is right.

This pen has the same drying out issues the Dagong does. It's a bulb filler that holds a decent amount of ink. The bulb is stained blue.

Writes a very wet broad line.

I'd give this pen to a kid to play with or something, unless you want to figure out how to seal the cap yourself. Then it might be pretty cool for your own use.

$1 for the pen if you buy something else. $5 if you don't, but you can get it for like $1.50 or $2 off Ebay. A2 condition, C if you consider the small factory chip. ~~ SOLD

    Spoiler:
SOLD Schrade Tactical Pen: Big anodized aluminum pen. There's a few dings at the very bottom of the pen, where the "glass breaker" is.

It's super comfortable to hold and write with, but my handwriting has never looked good with it, so I'm selling it.

Seals super well because of the o-ring at the base of the threads.

Decent pen to carry in a pants pocket if you can't carry in a shirt pocket. Very sturdy.

Pen is out of production. I payed $40 for it, asking $25. C condition due to dings on the bottom of the body. ~~ SOLD for $25

Dollar 717i Demonstrators: I've got like 2 dozen of these things.

They're piston fillers made in Pakistan. They come in 3 different trim colors. The pictures I've included are fairly representative of the true colors, although the red is a bit brighter.

Holds about a mL of ink. Some have M nibs, some have B nibs. You can request one or the other, but they seem to write the same.

Great pens to practice nib tuning or grinding on, or to give to new converts/kids.

$5 each with purchase of other items, or multiple of these. I'll give bulk deals. All brand new.

Pelikan M200 Cafe Creme w/ M400 M nib: Lightly used with nothing more than very mild microscratching. Writes as if brand new. The M400 nib usually costs about $150, and this is a discontinued LE model from a year or two ago.

I'm asking $250 for the pen. B+ condition.

    Spoiler:
SOLD Lamy Dark Lilac ink: I have a bottle of this that I took a converter full of, then refilled the bottle with ink extracted from a Dark Lilac cartridge. Since a cartridge holds more than a converter, this bottle is at about 101% capacity. $75. SOLD

I have 9 packets of cartridges. $12 each.

    Spoiler:
SOLD I also have 8 mL of ink extracted from cartridges. Does not come in a Lamy bottle. I'll part this out or sell it whole for $1.25 per mL. ~~SOLD for $10

Talc: I have more talc than I'll ever need. If you're trying to restore your first lever filler or something and you need some talc, I'll sell you a sample vial full of it for $2 if you buy something else or $5 if you don't.

Silicone grease: Same deal here. Same prices too.

Hard Rubber Reblacker: Changed my mind, don't want it. This stuff is made by http://lbepen.com/ and cost me $24 including shipping. You can have it for the same price, or $20 if you buy something else. It's a full bottle.

Please read up on reblacking before you buy this, it's a kind of controversial process. There was a thread in the repair section recently about it. This is also known as deoxidizer, but the term is technically incorrect.

I'll listen to offers for any of these items.

    Thank you!
