This evening fast sketch.

It looks interesting. Get an inexpensive paintbrush to move the ink around.
Use some of those pencils you just got.
I actually have a couple decent sets of brushes at home... but this was done at work, and my art supplies don't travel with me on a daily basis!
I have another idea in my head. I just need to find the time to accomplish it... or rather make something like 6 scrap copies before making the one I share with others!
No worries. You should have seen some of the junk I posted at the other site.
Eye of Ra:
Ra is the Egyptian sun god.
The Eye is an extension of Ra's power, equated with the disk of the sun, but it also behaves as an independent entity.

I had to think hard for anything I've done which features the sun. (Too cold and wet to get outside at the moment.) It's a small oil painting of the old caravan we have in the back paddock - done plein air on a sunny day while dodging flies, sheep and sunburn.

It's all about the greys...

"plein air on a sunny day" ... I can't think of anything else more pleasing than painting or drawing on a sunny day.
Your entry fulfills the theme perfectly, I say.

Thanks but to be honest I have way less control than I would like to have, but it's enough to do line art in my drawings
You are right, itˋs not an easy tool.
I saw some cool videos using it and thought: "Great I want to have that part also".
But when I received it I thought: "Son of a gun, this is pretty darn difficult"
In the meanwhile I also love it, but itˋs not an easy one.
What I still do not master is writing properly with it ( I intentionally do not write brush calligraphy as I'm so far away of it).

Total Eclipse day, which according to the ancient Chinese myth, is caused by the dragon swallowing the sun.

So before we get to the next prompt, here's another one for "Sun".
My best guess is that this is a truncated Phoenix, which like the sun rises and sets.
TBH, I'm not entirely sure. I started drawing and this is what came out!

OK, folks, for September, let's go with "The Letter G." Think outside the box and have fun.

Interpret as you can -- something that starts with the letter "G" (or "g"), something that looks like the letter "G", maybe even the letter "G" (calligraphy).
No, it doesn't have to be English.
